This beginner model is a collaboration of REWIND, Kurimoto and the city of Iwakura for a yo-yo that is made in Aichi, Japan.

In collaboration and honor of Iwakura, the hometown of REWIND and its main office, the IWAKURA MADE Yo-Yo is just that. Made not only for the beginner trying to learn the basics, this yo-yo is made with the person teaching them in mind as well!

A light throw is all you need to get this baby spinning, and its responsive bind makes basic tricks like brain twister, trapeze, and barrel rolls a breeze even for newbies. Aside from changing strings, no maintenance is required. The simple design supports your practice, and swapping parts out will make it bind-responsive, widening the tricks that are possible with it.

The body is made of high quality polycarbonate plastic, thanks to Kurimoto, the production company that specializes in plastic construction. Of course, we at REWIND are now offering this as our standard suggested beginner model.
