Meteor is Hiroyuki Suzuki's signature model, the impetus of the metal revolution. With a Meteor in hand, Suzuki swept the Japan Nationals in 2008 and 2009. Inheriting the Speeder's shape, it uses the new YYJ silicone o-rings, recesssed into the body for a balance of smoothness and response. The straight shape makes it easy to hit tricks in quick succession. The slightly thicker rims gives it more stability and spinning power than the Speeder. The Meteor is outfitted with the new standard mirror caps, drawing eyes to it both on and off the stage. At 66.8 grams it has a slightly heavy body, lending to its spinning power, but it handles like a much lighter yo-yo, giving a feeling that is just right.
