Candy Dice Pro

The Candy Dice is a product of 2001 X division world champion, Shingo Terada. The concept of this counterweight is to make it easy for anyone to try out 5A/counterweight play.

Everyone should give counterweight a go! This is the concept of the Candy Dice, a new kind of counterweight that makes it easier than before to install and remove a counterweight from your yo-yo string. Now, you can just wrap the finger hole of the string around the creatively designed grooves in the Candy Dice. Now it's super easy to switch strings or even play counterweight with multiple yo-yos in a row.

Another smart aspect of this design is the rounded edges of the dice, designed to soften the blow if you ever manage to swing the dice into yourself. Compared to other counterweights, this is the gentlest by far.

The dice are made by YoYoMAKER, the brand by Hideki Toho that became known for its innovative 3D-printed yo-yo designs. Terry collaborated with YoYoMAKER to create the first novel 3D-printed yo-yo counterweight.

Notes:
There are seams on the product, this is a result of the manufacturing process. Because of the nature of 3D printing, there may be slight variations in each unit. Be careful while playing, you may damage your dice if it strikes the yo-yo or ground too hard. If the dice comes apart, you can repair it using wood glue.

This is a counterweight for yo-yo play, please do not use it for anything other than its intended purpose. This is a small plastic product, please don't put it in your mouth, and keep it away from small children.
